The all-rounder (140°). One step above the D938M sits the D938, this too is a general-purpose series but with fine tuning tilting towards higher performance. The wider angle provides higher contact area increasing load distribution and AlTiN based coating offers enhanced wear resistance.
D918S – High Performance Drills For Steels (140°)
High performance drills for Steels (140°). The D918S is designed for high performance in drilling operations. The coating consists of traces of insulating elements leading to higher wear resistance at high temperatures and the geometry is geared towards effective cutting; both factors contributing to higher tool life.
