WMD (Insert)
Optimized edge geometry. These drills are extremely productive, accurate, and economical. Advantages:-
- Low per hole cost, the WINDRILL offers a very high cost-performance metric,
- The inserts are ground to near perfection giving very high hole quality not only in terms of hole dimension but also surface finish,
- The insert is clamped using only 1 screw! An extremely low count of spares keeps operations easy & smooth with a shallow learning curve,
- Two PVD coated grades are designed for catering to a large variety of applications,
- M3225 is 1st choice, a submicron tough substrate with a hard TiAlN based coating. It suits all material classes and is designed to get the job done with least possible risk,
- PD7115, the optimized grade for high wear resistance. Ultra-fine substrate with a hard AlTiN coating make for a potent combination. For applications where performance is all that matters!

WUD (Drill Body)
The WUD (pairing bodies to WMD inserts) are designed to make life on the shop floor much easier,
- The are crafted for robustness and precision, keeping changeover low and the checking to the least possible. The high precision ensures high repeatability with least intervention whenever there is an indexing,
- They are easy to maintain requiring only minimal cleaning with an air brush with every indexing. The only spare parts are the screw and it’s respective key Easy to maintain and easy to replace.
